John Busby PhD

John Busby is a Senior Lecturer in Medical Statistics at Queen's University Belfast. Although his research interests are varied, Dr. Busby is primarily interested in severe asthma outcomes. He is the lead statistician for the UK Severe Asthma Registry and has recently been involved in efforts to combine data from across Europe (DOI:10.1183/13993003.01163-2019) and Worldwide (DOI: 10.1016/j.chest.2019.10.053) to enable real-word research studies in severe asthma at a truly international scale. His future research plans include exploring socioeconomic and ethnic inequalities in asthma within the UK.
