Dr. Corren was born and raised in the Los Angeles area and attended the University of California, Los Angeles, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with departmental honors in Biology. He then attended medical school at the University of California, San Diego. After an internship at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center, he completed his training in internal medicine at the University of California, Davis.
Dr. Corren then went on to complete a fellowship in allergy and immunology at the distinguished National Jewish Center for Immunology and Respiratory Medicine. In 1991, Dr. Corren joined the UCLA faculty as director of the Allergy Fellowship Training Program, co-director of the Nasal and Sinus Disease Center, and director of Clinical Services at the UCLA Center for Health Sciences. Over the past 20 years, Dr. Corren has been in full-time private practice but continues to work actively at UCLA as a clinical consultant, educator, and research mentor.
