Dr. Jonathan F. Dickens is the Assistant Professor of Surgery and Orthopaedics at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and the Director of Research, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, at the Walter Reed National Military Center & Uniformed Services University. Dr. Dickens is also an Attending Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and an Assistant Team Physician at the United States Naval Academy.
His education consisted of an undergraduate degree in Biology at Davidson College, followed by medical school at the Indiana University School of Medicine, where he was an Instructor in Surgery and a member of Alpha Omega Alpha. Dr. Dickens completed training in sports medicine and knee surgery at The Shelbourne Clinic before doing his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
