Joshua Bear MD

Joshua Joy Bear is a patient-centered epileptologist and neuroscientist investigating advanced computational methods in neuroimaging and neurophysiology to improve the lives of children with epilepsy. With a background first in visual communications and computer programming followed by an interdisciplinary Master's degree, he is interested in opportunities to employ cross-disciplinary technologies to advance clinical epilepsy care.

Over the past few years, he has also been serving as a consultant and principal investigator on several clinical trials related to drug discovery, clinical efficacy, and the development of neurophysiological biomarkers of treatment response. He has found this a highly rewarding experience and is continuing to pursue opportunities in this area.
