Juan Moreno

Dr. Juan Gonzalez Moreno graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) in 2008. Later trained in the specialty of Internal Medicine at the Son Llàtzer University Hospital until 2014. He has also completed his training with university postgraduate training in diseases systemic autoimmune diseases, at the University of Barcelona ( UB ) and in minority diseases at the Francisco de Vitoria University of Madrid ( UFV ).

At the research level, currently a doctoral student in Biomedical and Evolutionary Biotechnology at the University of the Balearic Islands ( UIB ). He is also the author or co-author of 38 indexed articles, with an H index of 10, mainly on the subject of systemic autoimmune diseases and transthyretin amyloidosis.

Finally, he currently works as an associate professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of the Balearic Islands ( UIB ). He is a member of the Technical Committee for minority diseases of the Balearic Islands, as well as the Research Commission of the Son Llátzer University Hospital. Coordinator of the Transthyretin Amyloidosis Multidisciplinary Unit of the Son Llátzer University Hospital.
