Julie Vincent, MD, joined Columbia University and the Division of Pediatric Cardiology in February, 2008. She was named the Division Chief of Pediatric Cardiology in 2014. Over the years she has also been the Medical Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories and Pediatric Interventional Cardiology (2008-2015) and the Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship Program Director (2009-2014). She was promoted to full Professor of Pediatrics at CUMC in 2015 and is the Welton M Gersony Professor of Pediatric Cardiology. Dr. Vincent is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP), a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and a Fellow of the Society of Cardiac Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI). She is a past-chair of the Congenital Heart Disease Subcommittee of the SCAI. She is the principle investigator and co-investigator on several multi-center and institutional trials/studies involving catheter-based technologies and therapies for patients with congenital/structural cardiovascular diseases. She is internationally recognized for her work involving transcatheter valve replacements for patients with congenital heart disease and has been a peer-mentor regarding the use of these transcatheter valves throughout the United States.
