Dr. Wong Riff is a surgeon-scientist at the Hospital for Sick Children. Her clinical practice focuses on cleft surgery and microsurgery. Her research program includes development and implementation of patient-reported outcome measures, and she is co-developer of the CLEFT-Q and FACE-Q Kids, both CIHR-funded studies. She is cross-appointed to the Institute of Health Policy Management and Evaluation (IHPME) at the University of Toronto. Dr. Wong Riff completed residency training at the University of Toronto, followed by fellowship training at the Hospital for Sick Children and the Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan. She completed a PhD in Health Research Methodology from McMaster University. In the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Dr. Wong Riff is the Quality Improvement Coordinator and is responsible for division-wide Morbidity and Mortality Rounds.
