Dr. Katarzyna Kotfis, MD, PhD, EDAIC, is a Professor at Pomeranian Medical University. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine of the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin. In the years 2005-2007, she underwent specialization training at the Birmingham School of Anaesthesia in Great Britain, for two years she worked at the Worcestershire Royal Hospital and Hereford County Hospital.

Since 2008, she has been professionally associated with the Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Therapy of the Pomeranian Medical University and the Independent Public Clinical Hospital No. 2 in Szczecin. In 2011, she obtained the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences. In 2012, after passing the state exam, she received the title of specialist in anesthesiology and intensive care.

She is a member of the Polish Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Therapy, the Polish Society for the Study of Pain, the District Medical Chamber in Szczecin, and the General Medical Council in Great Britain. Her research interests are Anesthesiology, Intensive Care Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, Emergency Management, Pain Management, and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
