Kathryn W. Weaver MD

Kate Weaver, M.D., is medical co-director of the Adolescent/Young Adult Diabetes Transition Clinic at UW Medicine, an endocrinologist at the Diabetes Care Center at UWMC-Roosevelt and the Endocrinology Clinic at Harborview and a UW assistant professor of Medicine and Metabolism, Endocrinology and Nutrition.

Dr. Weaver aims to provide the best possible care to her patients and recognizes that each person requires a tailored approach to care. She is passionate about improving the lives of individuals with diabetes, especially through the use of new technologies.

Dr. Weaver earned her M.D. at George Washington University. Her clinical interests include pituitary disorders, thyroid problems, adrenal pathology and diabetes mellitus, especially in the young adult population.
