As an experienced Board-certified wound care specialist (CWS), Dr. Kazu Suzuki, spearheads Tower Wound Care Center's state-of-art treatment practices with three locations throughout the Los Angeles, California area. Dr. Suzuki has extensive training and experience in wound care procedures including debridement, VAC therapy, skin grafts, and treatments for puncture wounds, skin tears, ulcers, traumatic injuries, and abscesses.
Dr. Suzuki graduated with honors from Syracuse University in Syracuse New York, then completed his residency program at the Orthopedic Department of the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. Currently, He is currently an attending physician of Department of Surgery at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA.
Dr. Suzuki is a native of Tokyo, Japan, and lectures both within the United States and internationally on the topics of wound care, hyperbaric medicine, vascular medicine and limb salvage. He is a regular moderator and speaker of SAWC (the Symposium on Advanced Wound Care), a national wound care conference.
He is a regular contributor and editor of many wound care publications, including Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine. He is a committee member of JSHUM, the Japanese Society of Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society. He is also a visiting professor at Tokyo Medical and Dental University and collaborates research with doctors in the University of Tokyo School of Medicine in Tokyo, Japan.
