Dr. Kelly A. Carden, MD, MBA, is the president of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) and is board-certified in sleep medicine, internal medicine, pulmonary medicine and critical care. She is a practicing sleep medicine physician with Saint Thomas Medical Partners – Sleep Specialists in Nashville, Tenn.
Dr. Carden has an interest in health policy and has served in multiple ways to help address practice management issues related to coding and reimbursement. She completed her internal medicine residency at Baylor College of Medicine, and fellowships in pulmonary medicine, critical care and sleep medicine at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Carden earned her medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis.
