Dr. Kenneth Mandell attended medical school at St. George's University School of Medicine, after which he performed his medical internship at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. He then traveled to California for his residency in internal medicine at Kaiser Permanente Foundation Hospital, located in San Francisco. After that, he returned to Lenox Hill Hospital to do a cardiovascular disease fellowship.

Board certified in cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, internal medicine and nuclear cardiology, Dr. Mandell is the sole practitioner at the Mandell Cardiac Care Center, located in Delray Beach, Florida.

Dr. Mandell has received a broad medical education in all aspects of cardiovascular disease, including outpatient treatment and critical care management, a unique combination of training at a private, traditional hospital in New York, as well as a large, managed care operation in California. This inimitable experience has allowed him to appreciate the strengths and shortcomings of both systems, and perhaps see where conventional medicine is headed in the future. Training at the Lenox Hill Heart and Vascular Institute (a top fifteen cardiovascular hospital, as ranked by U.S. News & World Report in 2007) has allowed him to interact with and study under physicians and researchers who are some of the universal authorities in cardiac disease and management issues.
