Dr. Kenneth Wong MA (Oxon), DM (Oxon), FRCP(Lond), PGCME (HYMS), FHEA, FESC, FACC is a Consultant Cardiologist in Lancashire Cardiac Centre, Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, a regional cardiothoracic center in NW England, UK. He trained in Oxford. He was a British Heart Foundation Clinical research fellow in Scotland (2000-2) where he first developed a research interest in hypertension and its consequences, in particular, stroke and heart failure.
Following the award of a DM from Oxford and completion of specialist training in Cardiology and General Internal Medicine, he has been a consultant since 2008 and has developed a special interest in Heart Failure and Non-invasive Cardiac Imaging. He has more than 140 publications, is accredited by the British Society of Echocardiography, and was elected a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology, Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
