Khurshid Ahmad Khurshid MD, FAASM, FAPA

Khurshid Ahmad Khurshid M.D. is a diplomate in Internal Medicine, Psychiatry, and Sleep Medicine. Dr. Khurshid graduated from All Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi India with a Doctorate of Medicine in Psychiatry. He completed residency training in Internal Medicine and Psychiatry at the SIU School of Medicine, Springfield, Ill in 2005. Dr. Khurshid went on to complete a Fellowship in Sleep Medicine and Circadian Rhythm Disorders at the University of Chicago in Chicago Ill. in 2006.

Dr. Khurshid is interested in sleep disorders, sleep and depression, and brain stimulation. Dr. Khurshid was the Director of the Sleep Disorders Center at Howard University Hospital in Washington DC. He also held the position of Medical Director for Inpatient Psychiatry at Howard University Hospital, with an Associate Professor position in the departments of Psychiatry and Neurology at Howard University, Washington, DC.
