Dr. Pargeon is an Attending Physician in Neurology at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center and an Assistant Professor at Weill Cornell Medical College in the Division of Epilepsy. After receiving her medical degree from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, she completed her Neurology residency training at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland.
Following residency, Dr. Pargeon completed a two-year fellowship in clinical neurophysiology and epilepsy at Columbia University/New York-Presbyterian in New York. After her fellowship, she joined the faculty at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY, and then most recently, she was on faculty at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, both in the departments of Neurology, prior to joining the faculty at Weill Cornell Medical Center.
Dr. Pargeon is board certified in Neurology and in Epilepsy. Her clinical interests include medically refractory epilepsy, surgical treatment of epilepsy, and women’s issues in epilepsy. Her other area of interest include continuous EEG monitoring in the ICU and hospital setting.
