Kristen Hicks Roof PhD, RDN, LDN, FAND

Kristen Hicks-Roof, PhD, is a professor in nutrition and dietetics at the University of North Florida. Dr. Hicks-Roof received her doctorate from Texas A&M University. She is a registered and licensed dietitian and a fellow of the American Dietetic Association. Her research focuses on improving communication among interdisciplinary teams regarding nutrition care for patients. She is passionate about improving the physician’s knowledge and comfort in talking to patients about nutrition and lifestyle changes.
