Lattisha L. Bilbrew MD

Dr. Lattisha Bilbrew is an Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Hand and Upper Extremity with Resurgens Orthopaedics, serving out of the Decatur and Snellville offices. She is trained in endoscopic procedures, joint replacement/reconstruction, fracture care as well as microsurgery in pediatric and adult patients. She received her medical degree in Atlanta at Morehouse School of Medicine, completed residency training in orthopaedic surgery at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas and her fellowship training in Hand and Upper Extremity surgery at The University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida.

During her subspecialty training, she extensively studied hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder related surgeries. In addition to surgery of the Upper Extremity, Dr. Bilbrew enjoys mentoring future doctors and devotes personal time speaking to schools and community organizations. Currently, she mentors several high school students, college undergraduates, and medical students who are interested in Orthopedic Surgery. Understanding that education is the key, Dr. Bilbrew continues to do value added medical research that has a direct impact on her community. While in medical training, she participated in international medical mission trips, serving underprivileged communities that lacked critically needed medical expertise.
