Dr. Lorne J. Gula, MD, MSs, FRCPC, is a Cardiologist at London Health Sciences Centre. He completed medical school at the University of Ottawa in 1997, with subspecialty training in Cardiology in London, Ontario, and Arrhythmia Fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.
He has been on staff since 2005 and specializes in the clinical management of heart rhythm disturbances with a special interest in catheter ablation and device implantation. Research interests include the management of atrial and ventricular arrhythmias and the prevention of sudden death. He has been involved with the authorship of 145 peer-reviewed published manuscripts. Dr. Gula received a Master of Science in Epidemiology degree from Harvard University in 2005, is a Heart and Stroke Foundation researcher, and works with the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences as a Faculty Scholar.
