Louis Paul Snellgrove

Louis is Senior Emergency Department Registrars. Following the death of Lloyd’s uncle, our boys were inspired to ride a tandem bicycle 29,000 km around the globe passing through 23 countries in just 283 days. Managing to break the Guinness World Record in the process. Louis will recant their incredible adventure including being hit by a truck on day 1, held at knifepoint and coming face to face with a Siberian brown bear in a tale that will inspire and captivate.

Louis will begin a world record attempt in August 2018 - cycling around the world on a tandem bike in order to raise money for charity, Spinal Research, and the Brain Foundation and hopefully break a Guinness World Record in the process.

Passing through 16 countries and covering a minimum of 29,000km on the bike, we will be fully self-supported and self-funded. The challenge will take us around 300 days. We expect the cycle to be physically and mentally challenging but are eager to get started!
