Dr. Luca Cindolo was born on January 27, 1973, in Potenza. In 1991 he obtained a classical high school diploma. He graduated in July 1997 with an experimental thesis "Galectins expression in human bladder carcinoma" and with a grade of 110/110 cum laude.
He obtained a specialization in Urology in October 2002 on "Molecular cancerogenesis of the urothelium: the role of HOX genes" with a score of 70/70.
In 2018 he completed a PhD program in translational medicine with a thesis on “Use of Abiraterone Acetate in real life”.
After the specialization, he worked at the National Cancer Institute of Naples as a scholarship and then at the “G. Rummo “of Benevento from 2005 to 2008 as a Urologist. He moved to the UO of Urology of the ASL Abruzzo2 at the "S.Pio da Pietrelcina" Hospital in Vasto until 2018. From 2014 to 2018 he held the role of head of the Simple Operating Unit of Urological Robotics at the Clinicized Hospital "SS Annunziata “of Chieti.
Since the end of 2018, he has held the role of Referent for Urology of Villa Stuart in Rome. In 2020 with other partners he founded the European Urological Center CURE and is its advisor for scientific activity and responsible for the development of the Central-Southern Italy area.
