Lucas Minig MD, PhD, MBA

Dr. Lucas Minig is a leading expert in Gynecology and Obstetrics from Spain. He is the Head of the Gynecology and Obstetrics service at the Valencian Institute of Oncology (IVO) and Professor of Medicine at CEU Cardenal Herrera University, Valencia, Spain.

Minig has extensive academic training, being a Bachelor and Doctor of Medicine from the Catholic University of Argentina and the University of Buenos Aires, respectively. In addition, he received his degree as a gynecologist oncologist after completing his training at the European Institute of Oncology in Milan, Italy, (2006-2008) and a postdoctoral Fellowship at the National Cancer Institute, at the National Cancer Institute of Bethesda (USA) (2008 -2010).

Minig specializes in the surgical treatment of ovarian cancer with peritoneal carcinomatosis, endometrial cancer, and cervical cancer. He performs mini-invasive laparoscopic surgery for gynecological cancer. Also, he specializes in the treatment of ovarian cysts, fibroids and endometriosis, hysterectomy, and laparoscopic myomectomy.

Minig has participated in many projects focused on molecular signaling and genetic mutations of gynecological cancers. He still actively participates in many ongoing clinical projects, some of which have already been published in worldwide medical journals.

Prof. Minig is also the author of many book chapters as well as several scientific articles published in International Journals indexed in PubMed Central.
