Maged N. Guirguis MD

Maged Guirguis, MD, serves as the chief system lead of the pain management department at Ochsner health system. He is an Associate Professor for The University of Queensland Ochsner Clinical School where he also serves as the pain/palliative medicine rotation director as well as serving as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Louisiana State University School of Medicine. After completing a residency in internal medicine in his home country. He joined the Cleveland Clinic Foundation for a research fellowship in pain medicine after which he completed his residency in anesthesiology and clinical fellowship in pain management. Dr. Guirguis is triple board certified in anesthesiology, pain medicine and headache management.
