Mamta Shah MBBS, MS, PhD, FRCS

Dr. Mamta Shah is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon based at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, Wythenshawe Hospital, and the University of Manchester. She has a special interest in the management of Paediatric burn injuries and post-burn scarring. The challenges faced in her clinical life treating children with burn injuries and their sequelae feed into her research interests. She leads a group of researchers investigating the pathophysiology of burn wound healing and post-burn scarring at the University of Manchester and collaborates with colleagues at other Universities.
