Mani Mahdavian MD

Dr. Mani Mahdavian is a renowned gastroenterologist whose goal is providing patient friendly medical care, with an individualized approach. He has clinical expertise in Endoscopic Ultrasound and pancreatic biliary disease and advanced GI procedures in his practice at Lakeshore Gastroenterology and Liver Disease Institute. He is Board Certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine.

In addition to caring for patients in his practice, Dr. Mahdavian currently serves as the Chairman of the Board at Des Plaines Endoscopy Center. Under his leadership, a multidisciplinary team of specialists in gastroenterology and surgery provide comprehensive care for patients. He currently serves as a Faculty Member at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital providing training and education for residency and fellows.

During internship and residency he was Chief Resident at Edgewater Medical Center. After completing his fellowship in gastroenterology at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, Dr. Mahdavian was a researcher and extensive lecturer in a variety of gastroenterology topics at Chicago Medical School and Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. He has been a co-author in a variety of publications and abstracts including the American Journal of Gastroenterology. He joined the Advocate Lutheran General Hospital's Department of Internal Medicine as Teaching Faculty in 2001 and later opening his practice in 2008. Dr. Mahdavian is a member of several gastrointestinal professional societies.
