Dr. Manoj Kumar Gupta completed his Ph.D. from the Department of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, Yogi Vemana University, Andhra Pradesh in 2019. During his PhD, he did an internship at the Max Planck Institute of Evolutionary Biology, Germany. From April 2015- November 2020, he was also a visiting research fellow at ICAR-National Rice Research Institute, India. At present, he is working as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Computational Biology for Individualised Infection Medicine, Centre for Individualised Infection Medicine (CiiM) & TWINCORE, joint ventures between the Helmholtz-Centre for Infection Research (HZI) and the Hannover Medical School (MHH), Hannover, Germany. The central theme of his research is the application and development of computational tools and techniques to understand how specific biological functions emerge from the dynamics of biological networks. He has expertise in molecular biology, bioinformatics, structural biology, genome biology, and evolutionary medicine.
