Dr. Marc Sinclair graduated in medicine from the University of Tuebingen, Germany. He completed his orthopaedic residency in Germany and Switzerland, followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery at Harvard Medical School in Boston, USA. After returning to Germany he was appointed as Deputy Chief at the Department of Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery at the Altona Children’s Hospital, University of Hamburg.
In 2006 Dr. Marc moved to Dubai where he has continued to practice as a Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon where he holds surgical privileges at the American and Medcare Hospital in Dubai.
Dr. Marc offers both surgical and non-surgical treatments for a wide range of bone and joint conditions in children. His clinical interests include children with musculoskeletal deficiencies including congenital and acquired limb deformities and deformities to the spine. He also has particular expertise in the treatment of clubfeet using the Ponseti method, on which he has lectured in many countries worldwide. Other areas of expertise include spinal deformities such as scoliosis as well as congenital conditions of the hip and neuromuscular conditions.
Dr. Marc is a member of the European Pediatric Orthopaedic Society (EPOS), AO Spine Middle East and a member of the medical advisory board to the Ponseti International Association. He is author and co-author of numerous publications in peer reviewed journals and a regular speaker at international meetings worldwide. Dr Marc is enrolled in the Visiting Professor programme in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia where he regularly performs surgeries within his specialty.
Dr. Marc is the founder and co-director of The Little Wings Foundations, a UK registered charity. The charity provides surgical treatment for children with limb deficiencies in the MENA region and organizes surgical missions to indigent areas such as Palestine and Eritrea.
