Marcin Janecki MD

Dr Marcin Janecki graduated from Medical University of Silesia in 1998, where he obtained MD degree. In 2005 he earned PhD degree for his works with Arginine Vasopresine derivative peptides on Medical Faculty of Medical University of Silesia in Zabrze. Dr Janecki is a specialist in internal medicine and palliative medicine (completed in 2008 and 2011 respectively). Dr Marcin Janecki has been working in Department of Palliative Care and Palliative Medicine Chair of Nursery Faculty of Health Sciences Medical University of Silesia in Katowice since 2001- initially as an Assisstant, and since 2009 as a Head of Department. Since 1998 he has been working in several home and stationary palliative care units, currently in Gliwice Hospice. Additionally, since 2006, he has been working in Out-Patient Pain Clinic of University Teaching Hospital in Katowice. He is responsible for teaching students, postgraduating doctors, nurses and physiotherapists in the field of palliative care and medicine and management of pain.
