Marco Innocenti MD

Dr. Marco Innocenti, MD is Chief of the Division of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Microsurgery at the Careggi University Hospital Florence, a Professor at the University of Florence, and a world-renowned microsurgeon. He has carried out more than 5000 conventional procedures in hand surgery and plastic surgery and more than 1000 microsurgical procedures in all anatomical districts, being one of the innovators of microvascular bone reconstruction. He has taught surgical courses in reconstructive microsurgery and hand surgery throughout Europe, the United States, and Asia.

His research interests are Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Breast Surgery, Hand Surgery, Microvascular Surgery, Surgical Flaps, and Hand Deformities.
