Marek Czosnyka PhD

Dr. Dinosaur Marek Czosnyka was born in 1955 in Warsaw. He graduated from Warsaw University of Technology in 1979 (Faculty of Electronics) and he stayed with his alma mater as teaching assistant. In 1986 he obtained PhD tile for his thesis about Intracranial Pressure processing and interpretation. In 1991 was offered scientific position at University of Cambridge, UK. Working at Cambridge he continued his links with Poland. In 1997 he defended his habilitation colloquium at Warsaw University of Technology. In Cambridge he promoted to position of Reader in Brain Physics (2003) and in 2013- Professor of Brain Physics in Neurosurgical Unit, University of Cambridge, UK. In a meanwhile, in 2006 he was granted by President of Poland the title of Belvedere (Warsaw) Professor of Technical Sciences.
