Maria De Santis MD

Maria De Santis is the Head of the Interdisciplinary Uro-Oncology Section at Charite-University Medicine Berlin. In May 2015 she was appointed Associate Clinical Professor for Oncology at the University of Warwick, Coventry, and working clinically in genitourinary oncology at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Cancer Center, in Birmingham, UK.

Dr De Santis is a member of several international scientific committees, including the European Society of Medical Oncology, the European Association of Urology, the European Cancer Organization, and the German Society for Hematology and Oncology. She also served as a scientific committee member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology for a 3-year term. She has authored multiple peer-reviewed articles in genitourinary cancer medicine. In addition, Dr De Santis is a panel member of the European Association of Urology Scientific Office and Guidelines Board and the International Consultation on Urologic Diseases guideline groups on bladder, testicular, and prostate cancer. Her research interests include prostate, bladder, renal, and testicular cancer.
