Maria Milagros Garcia MD, MPH, FACP

Dr. Garcia has implemented medication management initiatives such as targeted opioid case management for state Medicaid programs. She has consulted on complex medical cases and has performed evidence-based data evaluation of medical literature, including cost-effectiveness analysis, cost-benefit analysis and decision analysis (including prioritization) for the allocation of coverage for certain classes of medications.

Dr. Garcia received her medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania and bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University. She completed internal medicine residency training at the Boston University Medical Residency Program, and received her master’s degree in public health from the University of Massachusetts.
