Mariann Suarez PhD, ABPP NPAC

Dr. Mariann Suarez is a licensed Clinical Psychologist, with Board Certification in Behavioral and Cognitive Psychology from the American Board of Professional Psychology. She completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of South Florida, master’s degree and Ph.D. in Community and Clinical Psychology at Wichita State University, a 1-year clinical internship at Boys and Girls Town, U.S.A./Nebraska Internship Consortium in Professional Psychology, and 2- year Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Clinical Psychology, specializing in Pediatric Psychology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.

Dr. Suarez is an international expert in Motivational Interviewing and has co-authored two editions of Motivational Interviewing with Adolescents and Young Adults (2011; 2021). Dr. Suarez has worked in medical, community, and academic settings, and specializes in the assessment of children, adolescents, young adults, and families.
