Dr. Mark A. Yaffe specializes in hand, wrist, elbow, shoulder, sports medicine, and upper extremity joint replacement. He joined Barrington Orthopedic Specialists in September 2014.
Dr. Yaffe received his medical degree, his internship in general surgery, and his residency in orthopedic surgery from Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. He completed advanced fellowship training in hand, upper extremity, and microvascular surgery at the Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center in Indianapolis, Indiana.
When he’s not seeing patients at Barrington Orthopedic Specialists, Dr. Yaffe enjoys exotic and ornamental goldfish, terrarium design, economics and financial markets, international politics, and being an eight-time Chicago marathon runner.
