Mary Alissa Willis, MD is a Staff Neurologist in the Neurological Institute's Mellen Center for Multiple Sclerosis at Cleveland Clinic. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi, where she developed an interest in multiple sclerosis as a medical student working with Dr. Robert Herndon. Dr. Willis served as Chief Resident of her neurology residency program before moving to Cleveland for fellowship training in Clinical Neuroimmunology. 

In addition to caring for people with multiple sclerosis, Dr. Willis participates in clinical trials at the Mellen Center and enjoys opportunities to teach medical students and neurology residents. She is the Chair of the Outcomes and Quality Committee at the Mellen Center and serves on a national committee to develop standards of care for MS.
