Mary Maiberger, MD, FAAD, is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at George Washington University School of Medicine and Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Howard University School of Medicine. Dr. Maiberger is the Chief of Dermatology and Residency Program Site Director at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Washington, DC. Dr. Maiberger received her undergraduate degree from Princeton University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in English. She received her medical training and Dermatology residency training at Virginia Commonwealth University.
Dr. Maiberger has a focus on inflammatory skin disease, systemic medications, and cutaneous manifestations of internal disease. She has co-authored several book chapters and papers as well as lectured locally and nationally on a variety of topics in Dermatology and Teledermatology. She is a member of the National Association of VA Dermatologists, the American Academy of Dermatology, and the Washington, DC Dermatology Society.
