Maureen Gallagher PhD

Maureen Gallagher Ph.D. is a Licensed Psychologist (NY, NJ), Somatic Experiencing Faculty Member, and Inner Relationship Focusing Trainer. Her work and teaching are dedicated to the embodiment of psychotherapy. She does this by integrating an approach informed by somatic awareness and somatic intervention along with adult attachment work and a relational focus. She brings a broad range of experience and training to this endeavor, including Certifications as a Relational Psychoanalyst and Supervisor, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist and Supervisor, Inner Relationship Focusing Trainer, Integral Somatic Psychology training, SE Touch skills training, and Certification as a Biodynamic Cranial Sacral Therapist. Her clinical work integrates relational psychoanalysis and experiential and process-oriented models of attachment theory with somatic psychotherapies.
