Michael Cetta MD, FACEP, FACHE, is an Executive Vice President for US Acute Care Solutions. Most recently, he served as the USACS Chief of Integrated Acute Care.

Dr. Cetta was a senior partner at Maryland Emergency Physicians from 2003 until January of 2016, when MEP merged with USACS as a founding partner group. Dr. Cetta’s primary role with USACS was to oversee growth and service line expansion as the Chief Strategy Officer. He also managed the specialty service line focused on Observation Medicine. Under his leadership, the USACS observation service line has grown to the largest of its kind.

Dr. Cetta is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians (FACHE) and the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE). His specialization is in Hyperbaric Medicine. He has served as the Chair of Emergency Medicine in three departments, including the first freestanding ED in the state of Maryland.

Dr. Cetta graduated from the Duke University Pratt School of Engineering in 1990, The George Washington School of Medicine in 1995, and completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at NYU/Bellevue Hospital in New York City. He now lives outside Washington, DC with his wife and three children.
