Michael J. Gallagher, M.D., F.A.C.C. is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and its subspecialty board of Cardiovascular Disease. He is also certified by the National Board of Echocardiography and the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and is a graduate of Michigan State University’s College of Human Medicine. Dr. Gallagher completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Michigan State University’s Grand Rapids campus and his Clinical Cardiology Fellowship at William Beaumont Hospital-Royal Oak, where he served for one year as Chief Cardiology Fellow. He completed one additional year of advanced training in Cardiovascular MRI/CT imaging at William Beaumont Hospital-Royal Oak.

Dr. Gallagher is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He is a member of the American Heart Association, American College of Cardiology, the Michigan State Medical Society, and the Oakland County Medical Society. He is the Director of the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program and holds the academic appointment of Associate Professor at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. He is on staff at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak and Troy. Dr. Gallagher practices at Michigan Heart Group- Troy and Macomb
