Michael Jelinek, MD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hematology, Oncology, and Cell Therapy at Rush Medical College. Jelinek received his medical degree from Rush Medical College. He completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in hematology/oncology at the University of Chicago. His clinical interests include head and neck squamous cell cancers, salivary gland tumors, and thyroid cancer. Research interests include clinical trial design, de-escalation methods for HPV head/neck cancer, and synergistic effects when combining radiation therapy and immunotherapy.
