Michael Kent Mcguire DDS, FICD, FACD

Dr. Michael K. McGuire, DDS, FICD, FACD, provides oral health and wellness to residents of Houston as part of the dental staff at Perio Health Professionals, enabling those with dental problems to lead normal lives.

Before receiving both his DDS and Certificate of Periodontics from the Emory University School of Dentistry, Dr. McGuire graduated from Baylor University with a degree in psychology.

Dr. McGuire is a past chairman of the American Board of Periodontology and was president of the American Academy of Periodontology and the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation. He serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Periodontology, the International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry, and the International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Implants.

Dr. McGuire has authored more than 50 scientific articles and textbook chapters. He has also presented more than 200 continuing education programs, and lectured for both national and international audiences as an eminent speaker.
