Michael S. Hisey MD

Michael S. Hisey, M.D. is an orthopedic surgeon at Texas Back Institute. Dr. Hisey specializes in Spinal Surgery and focuses on using the most advanced and least invasive techniques available to treat his patients. Dr. Hisey earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology and completed his Medical degree from the University of California in San Diego. He then completed a Surgical Internship and Orthopedic Surgical Residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Hisey spent time in Austria working on his Trauma Fellowship at the University Clinic for Traumatology and joined Texas Back Institute in 1999 after he completed his Fellowship in Spine Surgery at Texas Back Institute.
