Michele Arigoni MD

Dr. Michele Arigoni is a Head of Surgery at the EOC Cantonal Hospital. In 1999 he returned to Ticino, where he resumed his activity as assistant physician in surgery at the Mendrisio Regional Hospital (Dr. med. S. Arma and Dr. med. F. Fasolini) and after a year he left for Switzerland. intern, working in the surgery service of the Cantonal Hospital of Winterthur (Prof. M. Decurtins). In 2003, again in this Institute, he was appointed head of surgery. In 2005 he started his activity as head of clinic at the Regional Hospital of Lugano (Prof. Rosso), where, in 2008, he was appointed head of service. In 2010 he worked as a Clinical Fellow at the colorectal surgery unit of the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford, England (Prof. N. Mortensen). From February 2011 to July 2015 he held the position of Deputy.
