Michelle George RN, MSN, CASC

Michelle George is a Group Director Clinical Services with Surgical Care Affiliates where she is responsible for oversight of clinical strategies including leader development, clinical quality outcomes and reporting. Michelle has over 30 years of experience as a registered nurse. She has worked in various areas of nursing including critical care, emergency trauma, and surgical services. Michelle has served in multiple hospital and ambulatory surgical center leadership roles, served on professional advisory boards, as affiliate faculty to a nursing program and professional speaker to multiple healthcare organizations. She has authored various nursing journal articles and been contributing author to a healthcare textbook. Michelle completed a Master’s in Nursing Administration program at San Diego State University and holds a Certified Administrator Surgery Center Certification. She serves on the ASC Quality Collaboration’s Technical Expert Committee and Board of Directors She is also a board member for California Ambulatory Surgery Association and member of the AORN Ambulatory Advisory Committee.
