Dr. Kamrava is an associate professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He is the director of brachytherapy services, performing brachytherapy of all disease sites, and the Residency Program Director from 2017-2022 and currently serving as Associate Residency Program Director. He serves as a Gyn editor for the Brachytherapy journal is a past member of the editorial board of the Gyn section for the International Journal of Radiation Oncology · Biology · Physics, a co-editor for the Journal of Contemporary Brachytherapy, and a co-editor of the GI section for the SpotonBrachy. Dr. Kamrava is a member of the NRG Cervix Committee and serves as a member of the NCI Gynecologic Cancer Steering Committee. He serves as a Gyn oral examiner for the American Board of Radiology and is also currently a Member-at-Large of the American Brachytherapy Society Board of Directors. He has spoken at the ABS annual meeting, ABS Gyn School, ASTRO, and ESTRO on gynecologic topics related to image-guided brachytherapy. He has also been a co-editor of a Handbook on Image-Guided Brachytherapy.
