Mitzi Rubin MD, FAAFP

Dr. Mitzi Rubin received her undergraduate degree in nutrition science from the University of Georgia. She then completed her Doctorate of Medicine from Finch University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School and completed her residency in family and preventative medicine from Emory University School of Medicine.

Dr. Rubin has remained actively involved with Emory School of Medicine as a primary care clerkship preceptor teaching medical students, as well as an active member of the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians, where she has held past leadership positions including President and Board Chairman. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has earned a degree and a fellowship from the American Academy of Family Physicians. In addition, she is a diplomat of the American Board of Obesity. Dr. Rubin practices both family medicine as well as obesity medicine will Wellstar Health System in Atlanta, GA. She is passionate about partnering with her patients so they can live a life of optimal health.
