Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohamad Shariff Bin A Hamid is a Sports Medicine Specialist (Sports Physician) at the University Malaya Medical Centre and an academician in the Sports Medicine Unit, Faculty of Medicine, University Malaya. He is also a visiting consultant at the National Institute of Sports since 2008. He pursued his postgraduate study focusing on the role of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) for the treatment of hamstring injury at the Sports Centre, University Malaya and obtained his Ph.D. in 2014
