Dr. Mohammad Shamsul Ahsan is the first-ever qualified Sexual Medicine specialist, Sexologist, and sex therapist in Bangladesh. He has contributed to the regional and international arena of sexual medicine. He has vast experience in treating male and female sexual problems and sex therapy.

Dr. Mohammad Shamsul Ahsan graduated from Chittagong Medical College in 1999. He obtained MPhil in Psychiatry in 2006, and FCPS in 2010. He got higher training from ST. Catherine's College, Oxford, the UK in 2011. He got training from Porter Brook Clinic under Prof. Kevan Wylie in 2012.
