Muhammad Kamil Bin Hassan BDS, MSc, FFDRCSI

Dr. Muhammad Kamil Bin Hassan is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and Lecturer in the Faculty of Dentistry, Universiti Malaya. He obtained his bachelor's degree in Dental Surgery from University College Cork, Ireland in 2012. He then further received the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2015. He later obtained his MSc. (Research in Oral Surgery) Degree in 2018 and subsequently completed his OMFS clinical specialty training in 2019 with a Specialist Fellowship from the Faculty of Dentistry, Royal Colleges of Surgeons in Ireland (FFDRCSI).

Dr. Kamil has working experience in the Ministry of Health Malaysia from 2012 – 2014. He worked as a Senior House Officer and Registrar in Maxillofacial Surgery during his specialist training in Ireland from 2015 to 2019 and currently works full-time in the Faculty of Dentistry, UM as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and Lecturer. Dr Kamil’s surgical interest revolves around dentoalveolar surgeries, Orthognathic surgery, Obstructive Sleep Apnea, virtual planning and 3D printing, TMJ disorders, and surgical management of osteonecrosis conditions.
