Nancy Sanchez PhD

Nancy Babio Graduated in Nutrition from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA, 1996), resident in nutrition (equivalent to the MIR) at the Ramos Mejía Hospital (1996-1999), specialized in Obesity and Eating Disorders by the Argentine Medical Association (1999). -2001). She holds a doctorate from the Rovira i Virgili University (2003-2007), Catalonia. From 1996 to 2002 she was an Associate Professor at the UBA. In 2003 she joined the Preventive Medicine and Public Health Unit of the URV where she completed her doctorate through a predoctoral scholarship. In 2007 she joined the Human Nutrition Unit of the URV and as a researcher at CIBEROBN.

Since 2016, she has been the vice dean responsible for the Degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics at the URV. In addition to teaching that she teaches in the Degrees in Human Nutrition and Dietetics and Medicine, She has directed various Master's final projects in the Master's Degrees in Nutrition and Metabolism at the URV and Genetic, Nutritional, and Environmental Conditions of Growth and Development. Since 2009 she has been an evaluator for the Technical Council for Human Nutrition and Dietetics of the Catalan Council for Continuing Training of Health Professions, and since 2013 she has been the president of the aforementioned technical council. To date, she is a co-author of 206 indexed scientific publications.

Nancy has directed 8 doctoral theses, all obtaining the highest grade, 23 master's theses (2 of which have been awarded), and 13 degree theses (4 of which have been awarded as best degree thesis of his promotion) Throughout my scientific career I have participated in the execution of 24 research projects, the most important being the PREDIMED study, PREDIMED-PLUS http://www.predimed.es/, MELIPOP https://melipop .es/, CORALS https://corals.es/, and LEDFERTYL.
