Nawid Sarwari MD

Dr. Nawid Sarwari joined The Oncology Institute upon completing his fellowship at the University of Florida Health Cancer Center-Orlando Health. He completed his undergraduate education at UCLA before studying medicine at St. George’s University and completing his residency at the University of Texas in Houston. In addition to receiving esteemed accolades for both his educational and professional career, Dr. Sarwari has published several peer-reviewed articles.

Dr. Sarwari has had the opportunity to care for cancer patients from various ethnicities and socioeconomic backgrounds. The common denominator in any relationship between a patient and an oncologist is a sense of mutual respect and compassion. It is critical that the physician and entire healthcare team care for the patient, educate the patient, be a strong advocate for the patient, and preserve the patient’s quality of life. Dr. Sarwari believes it is a privilege to care for patients during what can be some of their most difficult times. Dr. Sarwari seeks to tailor each person’s treatment based on their best wishes and values.
